Loren's Pick: Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City, Bobby Bland

Rainy day in NYC and this song just grabs the mood. This is the most uplifting, sad song. Its a friend on hard days. Embarrassingly I first knew it from the David Coverdale cover (which I still think is solid). But nothing like Bobby's voice speaking the truth. These two songs brought us down a path of listening to Miles' last album Doo-Bop and then t his amazing mash-up of Miles and LCD Sound Machine.
